Alexa is a service that ranks websites based on information gathered from the web. For webmasters, it is very important to improve Alexa Ranking. I am presenting a list of 10 easy tips to improve position (rank) on Alexa.

Alexa’s traffic rankings are based on the usage patterns of Alexa Toolbar users and data collected from other, diverse sources over a rolling 3 month period. A site’s ranking is based on a combined measure of reach and pageviews. Reach is determined by the number of unique Alexa users who visit a site on a given day. Pageviews are the total number of Alexa user URL requests for a site.
Follow the Tips to Increase Alexa Rank ::
1. Download and install Alexa toolbar and visit your site daily.
2. Put an Alexa rank widget on your blog/ website. So each click on your blog will be counted as a visitor.
3. Install Alexa Redirect Plugin for WordPress. This plugin will edit all your internal blog links and will add http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect? before all hyperlinks so this will boost the Alexa ranking, because before content reaches destination, they are sent to Alexa to create awareness.
4. Visit to the Alexa website and claim your website to get maximum authority for your blog in Alexa.
5. Write an article about Alexa in your blog with a link to their site. It will surely boost your blog’s Alexa rank.
6. Get Dugg or Stumbled. This will bring a numbers of visitors to your blog and their visits will have a positive impact on your Alexa Rank.
7. Set your Blog as home page in your default web browser, which will help you to increase the number of visits in Alexa toolbar.
8. Get your blog / website listed in as many number of blog directories as possible. Which will bring you massive number of visitors to your blog.
9. Popular webmaster forums are great promotion tools when you have reached amount of posts and good reputation. Advertise your articles on the web to attract visitors and webmasters possibly already using the alexa toolbar.
10. Encourage or ask some of your friends or visitors to install Alexa toolbar and visit your site or blog and rate it.

some time ago i don’t know about ALEXA RANK but i found it in http://www.alexage.com.
then it’s work greatest and then it’s like dream my Alexa rank is now in the top 100K.
I have been trying to find a way to raise my ranking as well. I was so glad when I found this! The fastest way to improve Alexa rank is to use http://www.alexage.com Their service was great and now my blog is in Alexa’s top 50K
There is a couple of your suggestions that I haven’t tried. However, I do fairly well with just writing SEO related articles, which gets me some targeted traffic from the search engines. My Alexa rank is 72K and it is getting better all of the time.
I just need to get more traffic from all over the world. I think that is the way to improve my Alexa rank.
