How To Activate The New Google Navigation Bar

Google has decided to separate the horizontal black bar at the top of the home page that provided access to various services by a vertical black bar appears at the passage of the cursor mouse over the logo. If you would like to try the new interface now, you can edit your Google cookie and use some values that trigger the new UI.

Note that the procedure works on all browsers, and finally the three major browsers in the market, ie Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer 8 minimum. Well, you want to know how? So here we go!

If you use Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer 8+, open google.com in a new tab,

  • 1. Google Chrome : Load Chrome’s JavaScript console (Ctrl+Shift+J)
  • 2. Firefox : Load Firefox’s Web Console (Ctrl+Shift+K)
  • 3. Safari & IE : Safari’s Web Inspector or IE’s Developer Tools (press F12 & select the “console” tab)

Now paste the below code:

Then press Enter and close the console. If you’re using a different Google domain, replace “.google.com” with your domain in the code (for example: “.google.co.in” in India).
