Microsoft has confirmed the rumor on the availability of a beta version of Windows 8 , the successor of Windows 7, would be available in February 2012 . Microsoft released a developer preview of the software and gave an initial look at the app store in September already.
It is the vice president of Microsoft itself, Antoine Leblond, who gave the information during a conference held yesterday in San Francisco. Business Week says that the firm of Richmond would have accelerated the development and therefore the arrival of Windows 8 to be positioned in the market for touch pads on which it is now absent, with the all new Windows interface Metro 8 .
