Smartphones Unveiled in MWC 2013 – A Round-up

This year the Mobile World Congress (MWC) saw the successful unveiling of a lot of Smartphones. Here’s a list of the phones that were on display this year.

Samsung Galaxy Grand

Looks like Samsung does not want to rest after successfully launching the series of Smartphones and phablets. At the MWC this year, the company displayed the Samsung Galaxy Grand. One look at this Smartphone will leave you wondering if it is the Galaxy S III that you are looking at. However, when you take a closer look at the device you will learn that it is an all new invention called the Samsung Galaxy Grand.

This Smartphone runs on the powerful Jelly Bean version 4.1.2 Android Operating System (OS). The display of this phone looks impressive. It comes packed with a 5-inch LCD display. The rounded corners of this phone give it a professional look. The Home Button that is huge is something that you cannot miss.

This button sits neatly at the bottom of this phone. It has an internal memory of 8GB. This Smartphone that is has a 1.2GHz Dual-core processor supports Bluetooth.

Nokia Lumia 520

Manufacturers of this phone would have created this device with the intention of ensuring that everyone can own a Smartphone. This is Nokia’s budget-friendly Smartphone. The red and yellow hues of this phone make it look more than just attractive. It is learnt that this phone will be made available in various colors like white, black and cyan. The covers of this phone are removable, giving you an opportunity to change them.

Nokia-Lumia-520

The physical appearance of the Nokia Lumia 520 makes it look like a mid-range Smartphone. If you are familiar with Nokia Lumia devices you will notice that the various buttons like volume rocker, power button and shutter button of the camera are a little  wider on this phone.

This phone comes with a screen that measures 4-inches. The 5-megapixel camera allows you to record 720p video in High  Definition (HD). The camera of this phone comes minus flash. It is believed in order to cut costs Nokia has not included the wireless charger with the Lumia 520 Smartphone.

This device comes with an internal storage of 8GB. However, the storage capacity of this phone can be expanded. A 1,430mAh battery powers this phone. Nokia Lumia 520 will please users who are looking for a mid-range Smartphone.

LG Optimus F5

If you wish to carry around a Smartphone that looks good and that comes packed with features as well, you can consider getting LG Optimus F5. With the basic design this Smartphone manages to look attractive. The Optimus F5 comes with a screen that measures 4.3-inches and it packs 256 pixels per inch. This Smartphone runs on the Android 4.1.1 OS.

It comes with an internal storage capacity of 8GB that can be expanded using a microSD card. This device comes loaded with two cameras. The one at the  rear is a 5-megapixel one.

The front-facing camera is 1.3-megapixels. LF Optimus F5 comes with a RAM capacity of 1GB. If you are working on a budget and you wish to own a Smartphone that has the best of features you can take a closer look at the LG Optimus F5.

LG Optimus G Pro

LG Optimus G Pro phone comes with a full HD AMOLED screen that has been created in partnership with LG Display. 1920 * 1080  pixels and linear resolution of 440ppi is the screen resolution of this Smartphone. This phone is capable of displaying over 2  million pixels. This is double the amount of pixels that an average Smartphone with HD capabilities can display.
