Facebook releases Hello, Dialer and Caller ID App for Android

Facebook wants to conquer Android in the same way that Google does, through own applications. Today Facebook releases Hello, an android application with which intended to replace the dialer. ‘Hello’ dialer app still in beta and it is created by the team of Facebook Messenger and is now available on the Play Store.

Hello app is similar to the TrueDialer android app by TrueCaller. So when you receive a call, Hello will show you information about who is calling you. The app lets you see who is calling based on their Facebook profile. It also shows where the calling person work, his/her birthday. What’s really new is that you do not need to have this person on Facebook friend list to receive information on the screen of your phone.

With Hello android app, user can also look for companies and businesses, and call their phone number just by searching them from the app, as the Facebook said in a post on its official blog .
